Concrete Pipe Representative
Concrete Pipe Division
Summary: Reporting to Concrete Pipe Division Committee, this position is
responsible for marketing and promotion activities of precast concrete
products in the State of Georgia in coordination with member companies.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the development and execution of strategic marketing and promotional plans.
Develop and maintain a strong presence by regular calls on designers, owners, agencies, and public officials statewide with major emphasis on state (DOT) and local agencies.
Coordinate regularly scheduled member meetings.
Coordinate association seminars.
Support the member companies in joint marketing matters.
Develop and demonstrate comprehensive precast concrete products knowledge and knowledge of alternate products.
Actively participate in industry related associations.
Actively participate in community and public relations functions.
Promote and enforce Anti-Trust Regulations.
Prepare and submit monthly activity reports.Maintain files of alternate products.
Inventory and maintain association equipment.
Qualifications
Requires at least a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering with technical knowledge of concrete products used in stormwater, drainage, sewer systems, water systems and in street construction and rehabilitation. Prefer Professional Engineer certification. Should be a highly competent communicator and relationship builder with demonstrated competency in leadership, teamwork, strategic thinking, problem solving and decision making. Must be able to implement the association strategy with limited day to day direction.
