The Georgia Engineer magazine is published six times per year. It is the revamped magazine of the Georgia engineering community and is initially sponsored by GSPE, ACEC/G, ASCE, ASAE and ITE.

The mission statement of the magazine is: The Georgia Engineer magazine is the vehicle for Georgia's engineering organizations to communicate with members and the public on engineering topics of a general or technical nature.

Please click The Georgia Engineer for themes of the 2004 calendar. Contact Gwen Brandon or Pete Frey if interested in submitting an article and for copy deadlines.

Articles are invited from consulting engineers firms and other organizations that relate to the theme of each magazine. The intent is to have numerous, short, newsy articles rather than longer articles on arcane engineering issues. These could relate to recent project accomplishments including awards and special issues of broad interest. The magazine is statewide in scope. In addition, the magazine is looking for several feature articles for each edition that relates to the theme. As always, advertising is welcome and necessary to support the magazine. The anticipated circulation for the year 2004 is expected to be 10,000/issue. For more information, contact Gwen Brandon at the Georgia Engineering Center.
