Brittney Love serves as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer for ACEC Georgia. Brittney manages all budgeting, forecasting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting functions for ACEC Georgia. In addition to her finance duties, Brittney also works closely with ACEC Georgia's Board of Directors to implement strategic initiatives and oversees the office's daily operations.
Brittney began her career as the temporary Accounting Manager for ACEC Georgia during the Council’s transition from the Georgia Engineering Alliance. In this role, Brittney ensured a seamless transition through streamlining the Council’s finances, staffing, and management operations. Shortly thereafter, she worked as a Property Accountant for one of the nation’s top commercial real estate developers, Jamestown Properties. While there, Brittney managed the accounting for six properties in Washington, DC.
Brittney is a current participant in the Georgia Society of Association Executives' 2018-19 Leadership Academy class and will sit for her Certified Association Executive (CAE) certification in 2020. Brittney graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Master of Accountancy degrees from Shorter University in Rome, GA in 2012.
Brittney and her husband, Steven, are both native Georgians and live in Marietta with their two four-legged children, Opie and Goose.
