Tawny is an experienced litigator in the Firm’s construction litigation and employment litigation practice group. Tawny’s construction litigation practice is primarily focused on the representation of architects and engineers in a variety of design and construction-phase disputes, including actions alleging property damages, contract damages, and catastrophic personal injury. Tawny also counsels design professionals on best practices for contract formation and administration.
 
Tawny is a cum laude graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law, where she competed as a member of the Mock Trial Team. After law school and prior to joining CSKL, Tawny practiced with a firm in Savannah, Georgia in the areas of construction litigation, commercial litigation, and employment law.

For over 30 years, the focus of Kent’s practice has been on the representation of design professionals in the drafting and negotiation of their contracts, the resolution of design and construction phase issues, and the litigation, arbitration, and mediation of the various disputes that arise in connection with the design and construction process. His practice also involves the representation of other parties to the construction process, including large general contractors in complex cases alleging construction defects. The non-construction part of his practice involves the representation of attorneys when they are sued in connection with their professional activities.
