    After careful thought and a significant amount of planning with the Whitley Hotel, we have decided to move forward with the rescheduled Georgia Engineering Awards on Saturday, August 29th. While we would prefer to be able to hold this event in a manner similar to what we have done in the past, there are no guarantees that postponing the event to an even later date would allow us to do so.     The ACEC Georgia Inclusion & Diversity Task Force (I&D Task Force) was created in 2016 to advance the goal of increasing diversity and promoting a culture of inclusiveness within Georgia?s engineering industry. The I&D Task Force seeks to raise awareness, offer guidance to firms and individuals and create opportunities for meaningful dialogue, engagement, and activities around issues of diversity, equity, and inclusiveness.
