ACEC Georgia membership provides benefits at both the national and local levels. There are two categories of ACEC Georgia membership: (1) Member Firms, and (2) Affiliate Members. Member Firms are firms which have been issued a Certificate of Authorization to provide professional engineering services in Georgia, that have a permanent office in Georgia which is staffed by one or more licensed professional engineers. Only firms judged to be ineligible for ACEC Georgia membership as a Member Firm are eligible to become Affiliate Members. Dues for Member Firms vary based on the size of the firm and are billed quarterly. Affiliate Members pay one flat annual amount.
By submitting your application, you are certifying that your firm does not have any interest or other affiliation which might create a conflict of interest with the independent practice of consulting engineering and that the below statements are correct and your firm will subscribe to the Bylaws of ACEC Georgia and conform to the Professional and Ethical Conduct Guidelines of ACEC and ACEC Georgia. Prospective ACEC Georgia members are required to submit as references the names of two individuals who are employees of current ACEC Georgia Member Firms.
