Jennifer Larosa serves as the Director of Government Affairs for ACEC Georgia. In this role, she is responsible for ACEC Georgia's political advocacy efforts at the federal, state and local government levels. Jennifer has extensive experience representing clients' legislative agendas on both the state and local level, and was recently named a "Rising Star" in James Magazine's "2017 Top Lobbyists Rankings."
Prior to joining ACEC Georgia in September 2017, she was a lobbyist with Peachtree Government Affairs, one of Georgia's top lobbying firms, where she represented and advocated on behalf of more than two dozen clients across a broad spectrum of professions and industries, including AIA Georgia, Georgia Highway Contractors Association and AECOM. Her prior advocacy work allowed her to develop many relationships across the state and local level on policy, legislation and procurement, as well as to participate as an active member of advocacy coalitions of which ACEC Georgia was a part. This included groups working for the passage of historical structure tax credit legislation, the Transportation Funding Act of 2015 (HB 170), and the passage of ACEC Georgia's anti-indemnification legislation (HB 943) in 2016.
Jennifer has extensive experience traveling the state meeting with county commissioners, city councilmen, and other key local government officials on local government contracts. She has maintained an active participation in the Association of County Commissioners of Georgia (ACCG) and the Georgia Municipal Association (GMA) to create and maintain close relationships with those key local figures across the state of Georgia.
Jennifer is a Louisiana native, with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Louisiana State University, a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Georgia State University and a Master's Degree in Public Health Policy & Management from the University of Georgia, graduating suma cum laude. She currently lives in Brookhaven, Ga.
