Business Issue Forums

ACEC Georgia’s Business Issues Forums are practical, peer-driven groups focused on the operational challenges firms face every day. Through forums such as the Accounting Forum, HR Forum, IT Forum, Legal Forum, and Women in the Workforce Forum, members connect with colleagues to share best practices, navigate emerging issues, and gain insights that strengthen firm management and leadership.

These forums are designed to equip professionals with actionable knowledge—helping individuals make informed decisions, manage risk, support their teams, and build stronger, more resilient engineering firms.

Task Forces

ACEC Georgia’s Task Forces are action-oriented groups formed to tackle specific challenges facing the engineering community. Focused on problem-solving and forward progress, these groups bring together subject-matter experts and industry leaders to develop solutions, recommendations, and initiatives that have real impact.

Task Forces such as the QBS Task Force, STEM Workforce Task Force, and Technology Task Force are designed to address emerging issues, influence policy, and advance the profession—turning ideas into action for the benefit of Georgia’s engineering firms and the communities they serve.

Committees

ACEC Georgia’s Committees are internally focused groups dedicated to continuously strengthening the organization and better serving its members. Committees such as the Engineering Leadership Academy Steering Committee, Future Leaders Program Steering Committee, Government Affairs Council, Membership Committee, and Program Content Committee provide strategic oversight and informed guidance—helping ACEC Georgia deliver meaningful value, impactful programs, and a strong voice for its members.
