Professional and Personal Growth

Joining the Future Leaders Program means embarking on a journey of significant professional and personal growth. The program’s structure includes eight two-hour sessions followed by networking receptions or social events, allows participants to gain practical knowledge, earn up to 16.5 PDHs, and build a strong professional network. Graduates will be recognized at a formal Graduation Ceremony, celebrating their achievements and the skills acquired to drive their careers and firms forward.

2024-25 Program Dates: 

Session 1: September 10, 2024 - 3:30-6:30 p.m.

Session 2: October 8, 2024 - 3:30-6:30 p.m.

Session 3: November 12, 2024 - 3:30-6:30 p.m.

Session 4: December 10, 2024 - 3:30-6:30 p.m.

Session 5: January 28, 2025 - 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

Session 6: February 11, 2025 - 3:30-6:30 p.m.

Session 7: March 11, 2025 - 3:30-6:30 p.m.

Session 8: April 8, 2025 - 3:30-6:30 p.m.

Graduation: May 13, 2025 - 5:00-7:00 p.m.

Who Should Apply?

The ideal participant is someone with 5-10 years of experience who has been chosen by their supervisors as someone who is on track for future leadership. There is also a limit of four participants per firm, with additional employees added to a waiting list for the following year.

Commitment:

The 2023-2024 Future Leaders Program runs from September 2023 - May 2024. All attendees must commit to attending eight two-hour sessions followed by a networking reception or social event. Future Leaders Program graduates will be recognized by their nominating principal and the ACEC Georgia Board of Directors during a final Graduation Ceremony in May 2024. Throughout the program, attendees will be given the opportunity to earn two PDHs per meeting for a total of 16.5 PDHs. Attendance is mandatory for all sessions (one excused absence approved by Principal is allowed).

Cost Overview:

The program cost is $850 for the first attendee and $800 for all subsequent attendee(s) from the same firm for ACEC Georgia Members. There is a limit of four participants per firm, with any additional employees added to a waiting list for the following year.
