ACEC Georgia and the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) have a formal written partnering agreement known as the Georgia Partnership for Transit Excellence (GPTE). The work of the GPTE Partnership is done under the auspices of the ACEC Georgia Transit Forum and its committees and subcommittees.

Any employee of an ACEC Georgia Member Firm who is interested in getting involved in the GPTE partnership is invited to attend the Kickoff Meeting of the ACEC Georgia Transit Forum, which will be held at 8:30am on Thursday, May 16, 2024 in the 2ndFloor Conference Center of the Uptown East Tower (located at 575 Morosgo Drive, Atlanta, GA 30324, directly across from the MARTA Headquarters building). MARTA CEO Collie Greenwood will kick things off with a keynote presentation, immediately followed by a presentation on how folks can get involved by the GPTE Co-Chairs, Carrie Rocha, Chief Capital Officer at MARTA, and Claudia Bilotto, Senior Vice President and Southeast District Leader at WSP USA.

Online applications for membership in the GPTE committees and subcommittees will open shortly after the Kickoff Meeting on May 16th.
