ACEC Georgia members are invited to join the Inclusion & Diversity Task Force, chaired by Emmanuella Myrthil with HNTB.

The ACEC Georgia Inclusion & Diversity Task Force (I&D Task Force) was created in 2016 to advance the goal of increasing diversity and promoting a culture of inclusiveness within Georgia's engineering industry. The I&D Task Force seeks to raise awareness, offer guidance to firms and individuals, and create meaningful dialogue, engagement, and activities around inclusiveness, equity, and diversity. The I&D Task Force is open to any employee of an ACEC Georgia Member who is interested in engaging in these issues. 

In honor of October being National Disability Employment Awareness Month, we will have guest speakers, Tori Hughes, Outreach Specialist, and Liz Persaud, Program and Outreach Director both from Tools for Life with the Center for Inclusive Design and Innovation at Georgia Tech join us to discuss:

• Tools for Life and its services
• Basics of assistive technology (AT)
• Disability awareness
• Self-advocacy
